For the first time in the Nike Trail range, a carbon Flyplate is sandwiched between ZoomX foam. This system creates propulsion and a feeling of rebound. It keeps you cool so you can continue to push the limits of speed, whether you're on the first kilometer or the 80th.
Thinner and lighter than a traditional outsole, the grippy rubber Vibram outsole features a herringbone lug pattern to provide reliable traction on uphill and downhill slopes, even in wet weather.
The flat base and reduced transverse balance ensure optimal stability on trail trails. The heel-to-toe swing promotes smooth transitions. Specially designed support zones in the midfoot provide a secure, lightweight feel as you speed down the trails.
The midsole is covered in fabric, to protect the foam from bad weather and ward off abrasion on the trails. Abrasion-resistant materials reinforce everything.
