DESCRIPTION
The Blacklight 80 combines quality construction with reduced weight, for maximum speed and versatility in difficult alpine terrain. The DYNAFIT Blacklight 80 weighs just over a kilo (1010g in 165cm) for a waist width of 80mm. It is therefore one of the lightest skis in its category. This model is aimed at specialists in dynamic and fast touring, who are looking for a maneuverable and agile ski for technical and difficult terrain. The name Blacklight is a combination of the color black, which refers to the carbon used, and the suffix light – for a very light ski with brilliant behavior on the snow. Blacklight is therefore not just a product name, it is a real promise. The Blacklight 80 has an upper belt made of 100% UD carbon and is equipped with a composite wood core made from 100% high quality paulownia. The lateral geometry and the rocker shape in the tip and tail are adapted to the length of the ski, a unique feature on the touring market. The proportion of edge in contact with the snow always remains the same, which ensures balanced behavior when descending, whatever the length of the ski.
