For the first time in the Nike Trail line, a carbon Flyplate is sandwiched between ZoomX foam. This system creates propulsion and a bouncy feel. It helps keep you cool so you can continue to push the limits of speed, whether you're on your first mile or your 50th.
Thinner and lighter than a traditional outsole, the grippy Vibram rubber outsole features a herringbone lug pattern to provide reliable traction on climbs and descents, even in wet conditions.
The flat base and reduced transverse rocker provide optimal stability on trails. The heel-to-toe rocker promotes smooth transitions. Specially designed midfoot support zones provide a secure, lightweight feel as you speed through the trails.
The midsole is covered in fabric, to protect the foam from the elements and to guard against abrasion on the trails. Abrasion-resistant materials reinforce the whole thing.
