    If you want both hydration and lots of energy, this is the product for you. One serving contains 40 grams of carbohydrates (500 ml). Use it before, during and/or after activity. Drink Mix 160 contains 40 grams of carbohydrates when mixed with 500 ml of water.

    QUANTITY OF ENERGY

    Studies have shown that our bodies can use up to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour. A sachet of Drink Mix 160, mixed with 500 ml of water, contains 40 grams of carbohydrates.

    HOW IT WORKS?

    Drink Mix 160 is based on hydrogel technology*. When you mix it with water, you get a sports drink with a high concentration of maltodextrin and fructose. The drink instantly turns into a hydrogel in the acidity of the stomach. The hydrogel allows gentle transport of the drink through the stomach to the intestine, where water, salt and carbohydrates are absorbed.

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Mix the contents of each sachet with 500 ml of water and shake well until dissolved. Be careful, you need to get the ratio right for the hydrogel technology to work. The mixture is designed to be mixed with water containing <40 mg/L calcium. Higher levels may affect its dissolution. Consume the sports drink a few minutes before, during and directly after the activity.
