Warmth and lightness combined, the Radical Down RDS hooded jacket for men is equipped with water-repellent down for maximum efficiency when ski touring. This down jacket is a classic model from the DYNAFIT ski touring collection, very popular and practically essential when temperatures drop. The garment keeps you comfortably warm when the cold increases. The jacket is made with quality RDS-certified goose down, with a fill power of 800 cuin and a down/feather ratio of 95/5. Natural down is known for its excellent insulating properties, combined with reduced weight and storage volume.
Its only weakness is its vulnerability to humidity. Normally, when down gets wet, it sags and loses its insulating properties. To remedy this, we use high-quality goose down on the Radical Down hooded jacket with the benefit of the DOWNTEK™ treatment. Thanks to this water-repellent treatment, the down retains its volume even when exposed to humidity and thus keeps you warm. Down also dries more quickly and can be machine washed without losing its qualities. For added protection against bad weather, the jacket features a lightweight, windproof and water-repellent nylon exterior. There are also elastic panels under the arms, which promote freedom of movement, breathability and temperature management. Elastic edges at the bottom of the jacket and at the cuffs keep the jacket in place and prevent cold from entering and heat from escaping. Two front pockets and a chest pocket provide storage space for small, useful items and keep hands warm at the top. Thanks to its reduced bulk, this down jacket fits into any backpack and reliably accompanies you on your outings.
