Designed for high-speed nighttime endurance sessions and night runs on technical terrain, the Distance 1500 sums up the latest technological advances in headlamps. The Distance's integrated PowerTap™ technology increases the light output to a maximum of 1500 lumens, ideal for long route scouting or careful trail marking. Programming a constant power provides continuous lighting. The faceted lens provides a consistent, reliable light beam that maintains depth of illumination without creating shadows or halos. Magnetic and interchangeable, the battery pack provides enough capacity to last an entire night on medium setting. When more power is needed along the way, it's easily replaced with just one touch. The Comfort Cradle™ headband design of the Distance headlamp is positioned fairly low on the head and follows the contours of the skull to eliminate any rebound effect. It has integrated padding that provides consistent comfort throughout the race. Ideal item also as a headlamp for night ski touring.
