DESCRIPTION
Designed to explore the entire mountain, the Atomic Backland 95 is a versatile ski that offers a perfect balance between lightness on the ascent and stability underfoot, allowing you to confidently tackle the lines that catch your eye from the skin track. A reinterpretation of the original model, its construction incorporates more poplar wood, less fiberglass and resin, as well as edges designed to limit waste; an approach that reduces material-related CO2 equivalent emissions by 30% (compared to the Backland 85, 2021 model). The "All-Terrain" profile plays on the wood/fiberglass ratio to modify the ski's thickness curve and increase its torsional stiffness, thus promoting better efficiency on the ascent and optimized performance on the descent, even on hard snow. The HRZN 3D technology stands out for its three-dimensional beveled tip, which further improves float in powder and maneuverability on varied snow. For an ideal touring setup, opt for the matching Atomic PreFit skins.
