Energy contained in a natural hydrogel. Each serving contains 100 mg of caffeine and provides 25 grams of carbohydrates. Made from seven ingredients - no added colors, preservatives or flavors.
GEL 100 CAF contains 100 mg of caffeine - the equivalent of 1.5 espressos - or a cup of brewed coffee. That's a lot compared to most traditional gels. It provides 25 grams of carbohydrates through a unique blend of fructose and glucose (0.8:1 ratio). It has a high weight/energy ratio and contains no added flavors, preservatives or colors. Like all our products, it is vegan friendly.
Instructions:
Use GEL 100 CAF 100 alone for shorter periods of time or combine it with other Maurten products to ensure you have enough carbohydrates throughout your session.
Why caffeine?
Caffeine has been shown to promote alertness and reduce the perception of effort and pain. These are properties that can be beneficial in sports performance. GEL 100 CAF 100 can be used to increase caffeine levels - alone, with other sources of caffeine, such as regular coffee - or to achieve sufficient caffeine levels during activity.
