Backland UL is the new Atomic helmet tailor-made for skimo athletes and tourists looking to stay super light. Everything about this helmet is focused on protection and comfort with less weight : The hybrid EPP In-Mold construction is durable, lightweight and extremely safe. Under the shell, Holocore and AMID (Atomic Multi-directional Impact Deflector) reduce weight and provide up to 40% higher impact protection than industry safety standards. It's also multi-standard certified for skiing, climbing and cycling, with a lightweight Skimo liner perfect for winter hikes or long summer bike rides. And like all Backland helmets, it has little details that make a big difference, like the headlamp attachment, removable strap station and reflective elements.
