DESCRIPTION

The goal of the GEL-CUMULUS® 23 shoe is to provide an even smoother and more flexible ride while introducing gender-appropriate technology.

In addition to creating an added soft feel by comfortably wrapping the foot, the stretch mesh upper adds strategic support in targeted areas while leaving certain fibers more open to improve breathability. The upper also adjusts more to midsole movement, creating a smoother ride from ground impact to push-off. Plus, the upper is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions.

To improve absorption and flexibility, we added 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION™ to the top layer of the midsole. This technology is integrated through a series of shanks strategically inserted into the midsole, allowing runners to experience greater compression in a specific area without reducing durability or stability. These uppers are designed differently in male and female models to match the biomechanical data of each gender. By helping runners properly compress the foam during the contact phase of the foot with the ground, this shoe promotes a smoother ride and improves shock absorption.

Softer, GEL® technology located under the heel enhances shock absorption while FLYTEFOAM™ midsole material helps create a smoother, more supported ride.
